"I was really nervous about leaving our kitties with a cat sitter...because we'd had bad experiences in the past, but our Happy Pets sitter was awesome. "Happy Pets is wonderful with dogs with behavioral issues. My dog, Goobie, is very weary of strangers and takes awhile to warm up to people. Jamie, the owner, was very understanding and nice during the initial consultation. Goodie barked and growled during  the entire consult, but Jamie didn't hesitate to take us as clients. I work full time, so I needed a dog walker to walk Goobie five days a week for a 30 min relief walk.

Leslie, who is Goobie's steady walker, was very patient with Goobie and put up with a lot from my little monster. She never gave up on him and he eventually warmed up to her and loves when Leslie comes to walk him. Aliza also walked Goobie when Leslie was away and she is wonderful too.

I get report cards daily from Jamie via email everyday which keeps me updated on how he did on his walk. As dog owners, they are our babies. I would highly recommend Happy Pets. It is such a relief for me to find trustworthy walkers that truly cares for animals."

"I've been using happy pets since my puppy was three months old. I needed them last minute after reading a worrisome review of my former dog walker and Jamie came over within a couple of hours to meet with me and my puppy and took thorough notes on Lucy's (my puppy) interests, training, etc. I was immediately put at easy by her professionalism and interest in Lucy's safety. Since then, Jessica has almost always been our dog walker and I've run into her in our neighborhood while I'm out with Lucy, and Lucy always gets very excited and runs over to greet her.

I've also had an incident when I completely forgot to schedule a walk for Lucy until after she had been alone a little too long, and a quick text to Jamie and 15 minutes laters, Lucy was out on a walk.

One of my favorite things about Happy Pets is the website they use to schedule walks. The walkers have an app where they check in by uploading a photo of your building upon arrival, and a photo of your pet safely inside upon leaving. It automatically sends you an email when the walk is finished so you can log in and see that your dog is safely inside. Also, from these emails I know that Jessica has never left early, which is important because you know you are getting the entire service you are paying for.

If you are a crazy overprotective dog mom/dad like me and Lucy's dad are, then you understand why all of this is so important. Happy Pets and Jamie and Jessica are my lifesavers."

"My Happy Pets sitter is professional and talented with pets. Before I left my cat, Nessa, with the sitter she came over to get to know Nessa. Nessa is very particular and becomes obsessive when she is stressed, even tending to lick her own hair off when she has been left alone for too long. My sitter seemed to understand these types of cats and recommended that I look into getting Nessa a calming collar. Nessa does well with collars so I tried it out. I believe it was an excellent recommendation because it worked well for Nessa. After she took a detailed history of Nessa, including her age and weight, I showed her around my apartment and pointed out Nessa’s toys and supplies. Once, after being left alone for too long, Nessa scratched her skin raw under her right ear and now she has a daily topical medication for the skin there. My Happy Pets sitter understood right away how to use and store the medication.

When I came back from my trip I found that my sitter had left a detailed diary of Nessa’s day to day visits. It was meticulous. It included Nessa’s daily temperament, activities, and other observations. For example, some days Nessa was playful and other days Nessa was cuddly. Her observations were clear and reassuring. It made me feel so much better knowing that my cat was so well cared for while I was away. It will definitely make going away on vacation more fun, knowing my pet is happy at home. In addition, the cat pan was clean and my mail was in a neat pile on the counter, since she was able to pick up my mail for me the whole week. I wasn’t surprised to find everything so well cared for because my Happy Pets sitter always answered emails and phone calls so promptly and professionally, I had the impression she was reliable. It was just such a wonderful experience that I felt it should be mentioned."

"Happy Pets has been by far one of the best decisions I've made for my dog. We've been using Happy Pets for about 3 months now (five days a week). My boyfriend and I work a lot of hours, and we knew we needed to invest in a dog walker. Our pup gets anxious when she is alone and will cry and yelp (and our neighbors were sure to let us know) once we leave for the day. I contacted Happy pets and Jamie came to our apartment on a Sunday to meet us and our dog and she asked a ton of questions about her - temperament, food, preferences, how she is with other animals/people, what her favorite toys/games are - everything! She set us up with a temporary walker for the first few weeks before our permanent walker, Natasha, started.

All in all - I cannot say enough good things about Happy Pets. Our pup is so much happier during the day (our neighbors don't complain anymore) and it feels great knowing she is taken care of so well. There have been a few times where my boyfriend or I have returned from traveling for work when Natasha or Michel (one of our fill-ins) gets there or gets back from the walk, and our dog is happy and excited to see them. And honestly, our dog's "review" is the only one that really matters at the end of the day! Both Natasha and Michel are great walkers and really nice people too.

Jamie is amazing about responding asap to e-mails/texts and setting up last minute walks/pet setting. We had to go out of town for a weekend and we were unable to take Nova. I texted Jamie on a day or two before we left to set up pet sitting for the weekend and within an hour she got everything in order and set up so our pup was taken care of. I like that everything is online, you can write notes to the walker that he/she will see before the walk and you get an e-mail summary and picture of your pet after each walk. The website has had some problems from time to time, but in that case, Jamie e-mails or texts you how the walk went. Obviously, a third-party website is not something Jamie can control, but she more than makes up for it in making sure everything is taken care of."
