Booking ReservationsAll requests for services must go through DoTimely. Messages via DoTimely chat, texts, emails, etc. are not accepted.
We walk dogs from 11 am to 4 pm. Should you require a walk that falls outside of this time frame there will be an additional $5 fee. All weekend walks must be scheduled no later than Friday at noon. We always try to accommodate last minute requests as well as emergencies but cannot guarantee service. Phone calls are accepted and messages returned between 8am - 8pm Monday through Friday, 8am - 8pm Saturdays and Sundays. Holiday and Weekend RatesWeekend dog walks are $5 extra for same day requests.

Dog Walking TimesAs dog walking is a difficult service to provide and many things are out of our control (e.g. weather, doormen, parking) we offer our customers the ability to request services within time blocks. Need a specific time? It can be submitted at the same time as your request and we will do our best to accommodate it.
Early Morning: 8 am - 10 am
Morning: 10 am - 12 pm Midday: 12 pm - 2 pm Afternoon: 2 pm - 4 pm Early Evening: 4 pm - 6 pm Evening: 6 pm - 9 pm |
Walking Policy
The following is required by you for Happy Pets NYC to walk your dog:
- Either 2 sets of keys to your apartment or written permission of access with the doorman/concierge (access to your apartment).
- A towel by the door for rainy days.
- Access to water after the walk is over.
- A safe collar or harness.
- If we are entering your home, some type of disinfectant or cleanser for us to use when leaving.
Cancelations & Late Payment
We realize that schedules can and do change. Notification of cancelation for walks must be received 24 hours in advance or there will be a $10 fee. If your walker shows up for the appointment, and it is cancelled in person, the full cost of service will be billed.
Cancelation of pet sitting services over a non-holiday must be received no later than 1 week prior to the first day of scheduled services. 2 weeks notice is required for services occurring during a federal holiday. 50% of the canceled service will be applied if notification is not received within the requested time frame.
Payment is due the Sunday following services rendered. If payment is more than 4 days late, a $20 late payment fee will be applied.

Additional Visit(s) for Meeting Staff/Picking up Keys
Our Virtual Consultations are always FREE. An additional meeting, in-person, will be required so you may meet with and give keys to your pet care provider. Simply request a time and date that works best for you via DoTimely and we will schedule a 20 minute visit for when you are home. This is a great way for your pet care provider to meet your pet(s) and ask any questions they might have. If you are a dog owner, we will also do a brief practice walk with them. There is a small fee for this, but the amount charged will be applied as a credit to your account after your first invoice. For cat's this is a $12 fee. For dog's it's $16 and includes a brief practice walk.
Please note that we require 2 sets at the time of your in-person meeting with your dog walker. The copy is for management to hang onto in case of emergency. We will provide tags for the keys.
